When do I start?
I usually begin the college process with students entering junior or senior year; however, my holistic curriculum encourages students to find their passions and hone their intellectual desires, so it is never too soon to start.
What type of students do you work with?
I work with all types of students. That means your student who failed math, who has a 2.0 GPA or who received 2400 on her SAT. Your intellectual who is barely graduating, your B student who is class president, and your A student who hides away to play video games.
I am knowledgable about all types of schools and always prioritize the best fit post-secondary institution for your student. I also understand that there are many paths to success worth exploring.
Do you have a package rate?
I have hourly and package services for college counseling and tutoring.
What is your success rate?
Success means something different for each student. All of my students are accepted to schools of their choice.
I have had students get accepted to a very wide range of schools — from Stanford to CSU Fullerton — and I’m equally proud of them all. Many students believe they won't get into college because of the pressure and anxiety that revolves around the application process, and it is incredibly gratifying to see these students succeed. It is equally exciting for me to watch my most intellectual students go to top schools that will challenge them. Because success is subjective, I make sure to sustain conversation around expectations with students and parents throughout the application process.
Why should we work with you?
My work is unique because I recognize that in our current world, relational, social, and emotional skills are just as, if not more important than hard skills. As I guide students through the application process I weave in activity based learning that promotes self-awareness, empathy, self-directed learning, critical thinking, and empowerment. I also recognize that this is a stressful time for students, so I create a safe space where students can express themselves and decompress while remaining productive. All work is ultimately directed towards completing the application process in a healthy, efficient, and expressive way.
